Beginner course
An introductory semester in Python programming. From learning about the working environment, to commands and control structures, to your first – simple, but custom – game!

We will learn the basics of the world’s most popular programming language. We will learn about loops, variables, conditional statements and coordinates – the basic elements of code – all in a very friendly way!

We’ll learn about the console and the basics of text replacement, we’ll also use variables and learn about their types. We will learn several other functions and use conditional instructions in interesting exercises. With this knowledge we will write a simple chatbot!
Stage 3

We’ll go back to coordinates and drawing fantastic patterns, using loops with two and three parameters. We will also learn to create our own functions and use them in tasks and our own programs. Finally, we will learn to draw a variety of pictures in any configuration.

We will create the first game of our own and learn how to develop it. We will learn new methods and classes that we will use to create future projects.

Semester Course: Visual Programming

Advanced course
For children who have already had a chance to learn about block programming and would like to prepare for programming in Python. Loops, conditional instructions, variables and coordinates – we teach serious things seemingly just playing with blocks.

Stage 1

Playing with colors – in this stage we will draw and move with the rabbit, and later swap or reverse the colors and images for others. In the next part we will create games using colors. With this, we will consolidate the messages from this stage and be ready for the next challenges.
Stage 2

Fun with coordinates – in this stage we will create games and solve exercises in which we will also use loops with a counter. Finally, we will create more games, which will become more and more elaborate and interesting.
Stage 3

This stage is just creating games – there will be a lot of fun, interesting solutions and new ideas for colorful games. We will create 4 new games.
Stage 4

Our final stage will begin with a set of tasks to consolidate the knowledge gained throughout the course. Exercises and programming puzzles will provide a good dose of knowledge. Later, we will work on our own game, which will be the concluding element of our study of visual programming.

Semester Course: Visual Programming

Beginner course
This course is aimed at the youngest learners of programming. We introduce children to the secrets of control structures using colorful blocks that can be dragged around the screen with a mouse – you don’t even need a keyboard! Lots of fun imperceptibly teaching how to think like programmers.

The child will learn what a computer program is, learn the basics of the PixBlocks programming language and basic programming concepts: loop, conditional instruction. In the next part, he will see how to use the acquired knowledge to create simple games.

This stage the child will start by creating his own game – a platformer – to modify it accordingly at the end of the stage. Further on, the child will learn more advanced loops and nested conditional instructions. Now the modification of our games will become easier and easier!

Frequently asked questions

We help you find a convenient time. Most classes are held Monday through Friday in the afternoons and evenings. We also have free hours in the mornings and on Saturdays.
Our lessons last 60 minutes. For younger children, we offer classes of 30 minutes 2 times a week.
In the classes we use the PixBlocks platform, which you can install yourself before the class. Of course, the mentor during the first lesson is there to help you with the setup.
We make sure that the classes are as effective as possible, so we check the child’s knowledge and skills before starting the course. Thus, we match group participants in terms of: age, digital competencies already acquired and interests. This allows you to start learning at the right level.
Yes, we take care of continuity and efficiency of learning. Between classes with the Mentor, children solve homework assignments, consolidating newly acquired competencies.
